Vanessa Young

Mrs. Vanessa A. Young, was born in Nashville, Tennessee on February 14, 1955, to Mr. Owen and Mrs. Ochie Hunter. She entered eternal rest on December 29, 2022.

 She received her education from Davidson County public schools and graduated from Stratford High School.

Vanessa enjoyed crafting, planning events, cooking, watching her favorite movies, new electronics, doing hair and singing. Mostly, she loved WORSHIPPING HER LORD AND SAVIOR, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

In 1971, she married the love of her life. Mr. Christopher Young and to this union, they were blessed with five loving children.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Husband- Christopher Young Sr. Sons- Jason W. Young and Christopher Young Jr. Daughters- Christina (Buford) Foxx, LaSonia Young, Jacqueline Young. 17 Grandchildren- Melissa, Timothy Jr., Lanessa, Christopher, Denicia, David, Allison, Matthew, Janya, Jada, Jayla, Jason Jr., Andrew, Rebekah, Hadassah, Michiah, and Destiny.  and 25 Great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends
