A queen was born from the union of Jessie Lee Powell (father) and Lizzie B. Powell (Mother). Since her early childhood, Sehura El was an outspoken, free-spirited woman. At the age of 21, she married Abdul Malik Rasheed where they remained a union for 20 years. In the late 1980s, she started a successful self-employed business as a professional hairstylist. She later settled in Clarksville Tennessee where she became the Director of Ms. Aiesha Childcare and Little Stars Daycare. Over her life span, Sehura enjoyed gardening, candle making, baking, listening to music, shopping, crystal\ jewelry collecting, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
