Robert Lee Langston was born on October 4, 1934 in Homerville, Georgia to the union of Linnie O. Washington and Walter Lancaster Langston. He departed this earthly life on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, Kentucky.
Robert graduated from Douglas high School in High Springs, Florida. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army. He served his country for 14 years, as a retired E-7 SFC, receiving an honorable discharge.
Robert was united in Holy Matrimony to Lillian Crotzer, and they enjoyed many years of marriage, until her untimely passing.
Robert was employed with Grandma’s Kitchen and the Ft. Campbell School System for a number of years. He enjoyed fishing, telling jokes, doing magic tricks, and spending time with family and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Crotzer Langston, parents, Linnie Washington and Walter Lancaster Langston, and siblings, Walter Langston, Essie L. Ellis, Nancy W. King, Lillian Langston, and Elfreda Langston.
He leaves to cherish his memories daughter, Roberta Louise Langston, sister, Sarah Stewart, brothers, John P. (Louise) Washington, Richard (Juniel Edoudard) Washington, grandchildren, Adrian Lynn Murray, De’ Mario Murray, Lillian Langston, Adrian Murray II, Amiyah Murray, Seven Lee Langston, and a host of other family and friends.
