Oliver Darnell Buck, Sr.

Oliver D. Buck was born on April 12, 1949 in Nashville, Tennessee to Clara Buck Shingles. He entered into rest on Thursday, November 03, 2022 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Oliver received his formal education in Montgomery County School Systems, Clarksville, TN. and Calhoun County Schools, Edison, GA.

Oliver united in Holy Matrimony to Gladys P. Buck. They enjoyed a number of years of marriage this union was blessed with  one child.

 He was employed with Fort Campbell in the Post Exchange and was blessed to retire after many years of service.

Oliver was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Buck Shingles, his wife, Gladys P. Buck, and his daughter, Tosheba Buck.

He leaves to cherish his memories; Willie (Ruby) Buck, Charles (Patricia) Buck, Barbara (Freddie) McDuffie, Charlene (David) Corbett, Charles (Stacy) Brown, Michael (Rosa) Shingles, William (Tanya) Johnson, Delicia Berry, Chantina Berry, Anthony Berry, Steve (Tonia) Berry, Roger (Adele) Berry, 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
