Mr. Lewis Edward Allen, was born on November 23, 1956 to the proud parents, Mr. Oscar Allen and Mrs. Gladys Trice Allen. He was the youngest of seven children. Three brothers: Frank James Allen, Jessie James Allen, Carey “Mule” Allen and one sister, Mary Allen, preceded him in death, along with his parents.
He received his education in Clarksville Montgomery County School systems and attended Northwest High School.
Although Lewis had no children, his nieces and nephews graciously filled that void and he loved each of them dearly.
“Lou” as he was called by many, loved fishing and sometimes hunting. However, he along with a couple of cousins, they were the family’s “In-house” mechanics. Lewis knew how to take a car apart and put it right back together again. He worked as a custodian at Northwest High School for some years and when he moved to North Carolina, he worked at Smithfield Meat factory.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Sisters; Susie A McKeage, Clarksville, TN. Laura B (Bill) Reynolds, Southside, TN. Nieces: Dawana Wade, Nashville, TN.
