Joe Leonard Grady was born on April 5, 1941 in Dekalb, Mississippi to the union of Tommie Grady and Maude Scott. He entered into rest on Thursday, June 22, 2023 in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Joe was educated in the Kemper County Public School Systems. He accepted Christ at an early age and fellowshipped with Faith Outreach Church.
Joe was united in Holy Matrimony to Georgia Dial, they have enjoyed 55 years of marriage.
Joe was employed with Moritz Steel Company in Cleveland, Ohio as a Crane Operator, until his retirement in 2005. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior in 2006. He enjoyed gaming, bowling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Maud Scott, father, Tommie Grady, son, Darren Grady, and brothers, Gleason Scott, Frank Grady, and Lois Grady.
He leaves to cherish his memories wife, Georgia Mae Grady; sons, Devery Dion (Shirlene) Grady (Clarksville, TN), Lashon (Miriam) Grady, Sr. (Cleveland, OH); grandchildren, Maurio (Maneeka) Grady (Wooster, OH), Anycia Grady (Cleveland, OH), Atana (Alon) Gilbert, Tavisha Wynn, Lashon Grady, Jr., Kalish Grady, Ashley Robertson and Jeremy King; 13 Great Grandchildren; 4 Brothers, Percy Grady (New Orleans, LA), Alfonso (Mary) Scott, Grichel Scott, Glearon (Barbara) Scott, Freeman Scott all residing in Milwaukee, WI.;3 Sisters, Geraldine (Joe) Smoot (New Orleans, LA), Annie M. Leslie, Phoebe Scott (both Milwaukee, WI); a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
